Smartlipo™

Smartlipo™ is a revolutionary new treatment using a laser to melt unwanted fat. A 1mm laser cannula is inserted under local anaesthetic through the skin. The heat from the laser at 45C melts the membranes of the fat cell, causing them to beak down.

We use an aspiration technique, whereby some of the melted fat is aspirated (gently suctioned out) and the remainder is gradually absorbed over the coming weeks and months. Sometimes results can be seen immediately after the procedure but for most clients the result can take several weeks to months to be evident. There are significant advantages over conventional Liposuction in that there is no General Anaesthetic, minimal downtime (most clients back to work the next day), the incidence of minor complications such as bruising and infection are minimal.
